You may be right about almost no one caring, but Opera is far from a lame browser.

It’s the origin of Mouse Gestures, Speed Dial (now copied by Chrome and Safari, because, you know, it’s a good idea), _tabbed browsing_, etc.

Interesting note, Craig! As it happens, Costco is another Emerald City giant with service informed by Nordstrom culture. Fred Paulsell, the prolific Seattle investor and former Smith Barney manager, immediately recognized the promise of text-based support as an early InstantService investor. As a Costco founder, he provided critical funding for their growth and later assisted Nordstrom with refinancing in the early 90's. Small world, eh?
